ASSOCHAM Award for CCBMDated: April 9, 2013
The Certificate Course in Business Management (CCBM) offered by IIT Delhi was conferred with the National Education Excellence Award 2013 in the category of Best Use of Technology for Vocational Education and Skills Training.

CCBM is a unique and flexible learning opportunity to graduates and working professionals.

In a ceremony organised by ASSOCHAM (Associate Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) on April 9, 2013, in New Delhi, the award was handed over by the Union Minister of HRD, Dr. M.M. Pallam Raju.

CCBM is a three-phase course which combines face-to-face classroom teaching with online teaching. The first and the last phase consist of in-campus classes of 5 days each, while the major portion of the course for five and half months in second phase is conducted online, via the WizIQ Online Course Solution and WizIQ Virtual Classroom. For students who are unable to relocate to Delhi, the course is completely online for all three phases.

"Quality education is the sole objective of IIT Delhi. I am glad that through CCBM course we are able to reach global students via their own devices, LIVE and easily using the WizIQ technology. I am happy to see that this effort is duly recognized and awarded," said Prof. Harish Chaudhary, Course Co-ordinator, CCBM, IIT Delhi.

2nd National ConferenceDated: June 28, 2012
Efficient leader is capable of creating a learning environment where ideas can thrive and an institution of excellence in every aspect.

The 2nd National conference which was held on 28-30 June, 2012 at IIT Delhi was an attempt to be the catalyst for emerging leaders in the world of education and also acted as a platform to exchange their valuable views and opinion. Through national conference we provided an avenue of discussions and brainstorming on Transformational Leadership.

We have witnessed 200 participants from 125 colleges with 75 papers presented. The papers ranged from role of leadership to impact of globalization on Higher Education, from entrepreneurship in Higher Education to empowerment of women through Higher Education and many other brain storming relevent topics. The participants were from various Indian Universities/Institutes and also from countries like USA, South Africa, China, Kuwait and South East Asian countries.

National conference was not only a meet of intellectuals with diversified approach but it also was an enlightening experience. It proved to be a milestone in the field of Higher Education and hopefully another window for excellence in Higher Education.

USA Study Tour 2012Dated: June 18, 2012
As we trend on the brighter prospect of a nation with emerging economy, our education system has also thrived on the impact of globalisation. The most impacted part is of higher education due to the exposure of new ventures and vulnerability of better opportunities. USA is termed as an example in the field of adequate application of education techniques. Enriched with globally renowned institutes for higher education like MIT, Stanford, Harvard, US offers a platform for growth and learning in every best possible way. It is also a pioneer in research output contributing to various fields.

IFEHE conducted an international visit to US for Owners, Managers and Directors of various Indian institutions so as to accustom with US education system. The tour was aimed to get a new first hand experience in the field of learning practices, administration and professional tie-ups opportunities. We visited University of Dallas, Southern Methodist University, University of Texas at Arlington, Ohio State University, Syracuse University and Harvard Business School in our quest to achieve a structured form of new techniques in education. All the participants had interaction with various faculties of these universities and Institutes.

The tour included visits to the campus of above mentioned universities/institutes for a better outlook on the infrastructure of these universities. Participants had detailed tour of various facilities at all places.
One of the aims of our visit was an organized effort to forge future relationship for better understanding between educationists of the two culturally diversified countries. IFEHE conducted the tour keeping in view of betterment in Higher education which can only be achieved with better interaction and sharing of education systems. We believe that we had achieved all what we had desired through this tour and will continue this series of foreign visit in quest of knowledge.
CEP Course for NCAT WinnersDated: July 8, 2012
Success in academics and life can be excelled by thinking out of the box and learning something new in every phase, same can be concluded for NCAT. Through NCAT we tested students on their Creativity aptitude, breaking away from the usual "rote method" of curriculum. In conclusion, we had 10 winners from 6 categories which were offered a course under the aegis CEP (Continuing Education Program) at IIT Delhi.

The course provided a nurturing avenue to the creative mindsets of NCAT winners. The classes were conducted in the premises of IIT Delhi under the supervision of Dr. Harish Chaudhry who is a faculty at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. Students were not taught but were supported, nurtured and guided by Dr. Harish Chaudhry and Mr. Priyank Narayan, a young entrepreneur in the area of Human Resource Development.

The course was completed with project submission by the students and the theme was "Innovative Ideas" followed by a presentation on the same. All the students were divided in groups and a total of 8 projects were submitted.
CIE Workshop 12-15 Jan-12Dated: January 16, 2012
The workshop on Institution Building: Creating an Institute Of Excellence was first of its kind organized by the IIT Delhi for Trustees/ Owners/ Managers/ Directors/ HODs. The workshop was attended by 71 participants from all over the country. Eminent speaker like Dr. Harish Chaudhry (IIT Delhi), Prof. Shailendra Raj Mehta (IIM Ahmedabad), Dr. Rajendra Nargundkar (Director, IMT Nagpur) and many other took sessions in the workshop.
